As the Guests of HKICPA’s Awards Presentation Luncheon of Best Corporate Governance Awards 2019

Our Managing Director, Mr. Vincent Pang was honored to be invited by the HKICPA to join the Awards Presentation Luncheon of Best Corporate Governance Awards (BCGA) 2019. Vincent was also one of the reviewers for the Sustainability and Social Responsibility Reporting (“SSR”) award.

The BCGA has been playing an important role in establishing benchmarks and encouraging improvements in standards of corporate governance (CG) among listed companies and public sector/not-for-profit organizations in Hong Kong since 2000.

Panels of reviewers and judges, which comprised experienced and high-quality industry professionals and representatives of the financial market regulators and professional associations in the field of CG, selected organizations who set the benchmarks of corporate governance and sustainability reporting among their peers as reflected in annual reports or in standalone social responsibility/sustainability reports and website information. This year, 26 awards were presented.

As a professional CG advisory firm, AVISTA Group was pleased to take part in the review process of the award and more importantly the promotion of greater awareness and improvement of CG and SSR disclosure practices in Hong Kong’s capital markets.
