As a project sponsor of the Hong Kong Securities and Investment Institute (HKSI) Institute Case Competition 2026

AVISTA Group is honored to have been invited by the Hong Kong Securities and Investment Institute (HKSI) to serve as the project sponsor for the Institute Case Competition 2026. Our Associate Director of Valuation Advisory Services, Mr. Leo Lee, took on the role of coach, providing guidance and mentorship to the talented participants throughout the competition.

This year’s competition featured a Fintech-themed research project with two rounds of assessments. The first round focused on the topic “Buy Now Pay Later (BNPL) 2.0: Growth Revival or the Next Valuation Bubble?” Mr. Lee selected the outstanding team ‘Wild Card’ from five groups to advance to the semi-final round. In the semi-final, the selected team tackled the topic “Artificial Intelligence Solutions for Investing Public or Banking Customers to Detect Potential Financial Crime.” We are delighted to share that team ‘Wild Card’ went on to become the champion of the competition, demonstrating exceptional analytical skills, innovative thinking, and outstanding performance at every stage.
