Our Managing Partner, Mr. Vincent Pang, and Director, Ms. Sabrina Lam, had the honor of being invited as speakers by the Hong Kong Institute of Certified Public Accountants (HKICPA) to participate in 2nd Cohort of the GBA CPA Talent Class respectively.
Mr. Pang delivered an insightful presentation focusing on the requirements and issues of valuation in relation to M&amp;A transactions, accompanied by tasks upon completion of the transaction such as purchase price allocation and subsequent impairment assessment for the goodwill and intangible assets recognized in the transaction.
Ms. Lam’s presentation focused on the HKEX climate-related disclosure enhancement, including ESG reporting. Ms. Lam also shared valid examples to ensure her insights with fellow professionals were inspirational and enriching, such as navigating the key challenges for listed companies.

Our Managing Partner, Mr. Vincent Pang, was pleased to be invited as the opening guest for ESG Achievement Awards 2023/2024 Campus Sharing this year. He also had the honor of serving as a moderator of the panel discussion at the campus sharing held on 17 February 2025.
 Co-organized by HKU Business School and organized by Institute of ESG &amp; Benchmark (iESGB), the campus sharing commenced with an opening address by Mr. Pang, expressing his joy regarding the submissions that highlighted the tangible impact and leadership in sustainability. He also conveyed appreciation for how the ESG Achievement Awards contribute to the progress of sustainability and innovation in Hong Kong and beyond.
 Under the theme " Insights into Sustainable Practices and ESG Career Pathways", four awardee such as Henderson Land Development Company Limited, China Overseas Grand Oceans Group LTD., Sun Life Asset Management (HK) Limited and Sino Land Company Limited shated their company’s ESG leadership through holistic reporting, effective operations, and innovative approaches to sustainable development. The leaders also shared how students should competent and aware as they prepare for a career in the ESG field.

As the Opening Guest of the ESG Achievement Awards 2023/2024 Campus Sharing and explore the path to sustainable development

Our Managing Partner, Mr. Vincent Pang, was pleased to be invited by the Career Development and Corporate Engagement Office of The Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUHK) to co-host a seminar – “Landing a Job in HK” on 9 January. Mr Pang presented a session with the topic of “Charting Your Path to Success: Starting a Career in Business Valuation and ESG Advisory” and shard insights into the valuation and ESG advisory industry to the classroom.
Leveraging our industry experience and expertise, Mr Pang introduced the prospect and offered comprehensive in-house knowledge with advice to the students to prepare themselves as an all-around corporate advisor. In addition, Vincent also shared his journey of being founder of AVISTA Group, tips of becoming a professional business valuation analyst, ESG consultant in AVISTA, our career opportunities and support to these future leaders.
