AVISTA Becomes a Corporate Member of The International Valuation Standards Council (IVSC)

AVISTA is pleased to become the latest new corporate member of The International Valuation Standards Council (IVSC). IVSC is an independent global standard setter for the valuation profession with more than 130 member organizations worldwide, including the major accountancy firms and leading Valuation Professional Organizations.

Recently, IVSC has published an updated version of International Valuations Standards (the “Standards”) effective from January 2020. The latest version brings greater depth to the Standards, designed to better improve the transparency and stability of the financial markets, contribute to the growth of stronger economies and lead to improved confidence for investors and users of valuation services.

Being one of the two IVSC corporate members in Hong Kong, AVISTA perform our valuation under rigorous procedures to ensure full compliance with the requirements of the Standards. We look forward to supporting IVSC in promoting consistency and professionalism in the local valuation industry, and above all sustained development of the valuation profession globally.
