Scope:
We are looking for candidates to join our expanding ESG advisory team of our Hong Kong office. Our ESG team members will have the opportunities to have a wide range of exposure to various industries of our listed and unlisted clients for different ESG advisory needs.
Responsibilities:
- Take leadership in performing ESG consulting services including but not limited to peer benchmarking, ESG due diligence, sustainability strategy development,governance structure establishment, target setting, carbon management, sustainability rating enhancement
- In charge of ESG disclosure projects, including but not limited to management interview, site visit, stakeholder engagement, materiality assessment, data / information collection and analysis, GHG calculation and report compilation
- Assist in performing research on ESG regulatory and market developments
- Assist in preparation for and delivery of ESG training for clients
- Assist in developing IT system to support clients in addressing different challenges
- Provide insights on various sustainability issues and deliver value-added sustainability advisory services to clients
- Perform risk assessments in relation to sustainability, and design solutions to improve client’s sustainability performance
- Understand the client’s business operations and identify their key value drivers as well as the material ESG issues to the industry
- Undertake business development including pitching assignment, maintaining client relationship, networking and partnership building
- Actively to seek opportunities for growth, share knowledge and experiences with others
Requirements:
- Minimum 5-years of solid experience in sustainability / climate change/ ESG consulting, including but not limited to: ESG risk management, climate change, carbon management, environmental and social risk, green finance, target setting, responsible investment, sustainable supply chain, sustainability strategy, ratings and reporting readiness
- Degree holder in environmental studies (engineering, science or management), sustainability, climate, or related subjects
- Demonstrable knowledge in sustainability reporting standards and frameworks, including HKEX requirements, GRI Standards, TCFD and SASB
- Excellent written and spoken English and Chinese (Cantonese & Mandarin)
- Extensive experience working and leading in a team-based environment
- Strong project management and personnel management skills
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with flexibility
- Willing to travel
- Candidates with less experience will be considered as Senior ESG Consultant
