Scope:

We are looking for candidates to join our expanding ESG advisory team of our Hong Kong office. Our ESG team members will have the opportunities to have a wide range of exposure to various industries of our listed and unlisted clients for different ESG advisory needs.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct market research on key ESG trends for clients across various sectors
  • Support clients in setting their ESG strategies and action plans, define KPIs and frameworks for measuring and monitoring their impacts
  • Conduct ESG readiness assessments and due diligence for businesses, portfolios, and projects
  • Perform carbon trajectory modeling, set targets, and propose carbon reduction roadmaps
  • Perform environmental and social KPI calculations, data analysis, and technical research
  • Conduct key ESG risks and opportunities assessments and demonstrate how they can be mainstreamed
  • Conduct ESG ratings analysis and propose enhancement strategies.
  • Prepare sustainability/ESG reports and assurance.
  • Support business and product developments to further expand our ESG-related services through building know-how, information analysis, benchmarking, market intelligence, and solution partnerships.
  • Manage junior colleagues on a daily basis and work closely with senior colleagues
  • Manage client relationships and consultancy projects in HK, China and overseas

 

Requirements:

  • Practical experience in ESG consulting, sustainability strategy development, target setting, carbon management, sustainability rating
  • In-depth knowledge in climate / environmental science, ESG, TCFD, green building, environmental legislation
  • Minimum 3 years of solid experience in ESG consulting preferable with risk management background
  • Degree holder in Environmental Studies (Engineering, Science or Management) or related subjects
  • Local or overseas professional qualification(s) preferred (e.g. CEM)
  • Excellent command in written and spoken English and Chinese (Cantonese & Mandarin)
  • Good team player with the ability to work independently
  • Excellent research and analytical skills with attention to detail
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with flexibility
  • Proficiency in computer skills such as word processing, presentation software, data analysis and research documentation;
  • Travelling is required
  • Candidates with more experience will be considered as Assistant Manager
