We are looking for fresh graduates to join our expanding ESG advisory team of our Hong Kong office. Our ESG consultants will have the opportunities to have a wide range of exposure to various industries of our listed and unlisted clients for different ESG advisory needs. Our ESG advisory services include:
- Assisting listed companies in setting long-term and short-term ESG strategies, such as ESG data management, sustainability roadmap design, ESG policies development and implementation
- Advising companies and stakeholders in relations to ESG related matters
Responsibilities:
ESG Consultants will work as a team in general, with our partner, managers and other senior consultants. You are expected to:
- Work closely with potentials IPO applicants/ listed companies across a wide spectrum of industries such as property development and management, technology, media and telecommunications (TMT), financial services, healthcare, retail, education, environmental protection, logistics, hospitality
- Understand the client’s business operations and identify their key value drivers as well as the material ESG issues to the industry
- Engage in ESG disclosure projects, including but not limited to, peer benchmarking, sustainability strategy development, management interview, site visit, stakeholder engagement, materiality assessment, data / information collection and analysis, GHG calculation and report compilation
- Assist client in establishing sustainability governance structure
- Provide sustainability advisory and ESG-related risk management services for the clients including target setting, risk assessment, risk mitigation plan and ongoing monitoring
- Assist in preparing pitch book, service brochure, proposal, and presentation material for potential ESG advisory leads
Requirements:
- Degree holder with major in Environmental Management and Technology (EVMT), Sustainable and Green Finance (SGFN), Environmental Studies/ Science / Engineering, Climate Science, Energy Studies or other relevant disciplines
- Excellent command in written and spoken English and Chinese (Cantonese & Mandarin)
- Good team player with the ability to work independently
- Excellent research and analytical skills with excellent attention to detail
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with flexibility
- Short business trip to PRC may be required
- Demonstrable knowledge in carbon and/or sustainability reporting preferred.
