AVISTA is pleased to be the sponsor of the HKUST One Million Dollar Entrepreneurship Competition 2021.

The competition is a signature event of the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology (HKUST) aiming to provide a platform for the University and surrounding community members an integrative learning experience to create and evaluate new business and to prepare students to start their future career in entrepreneurship. Since 2020, the University has expanded the competition in 7 different regions including Zhongshan and Foshan in addition to Hong Kong, Beijing, Guangzhou, Macau and Shenzhen.

Our Managing Director, Mr. Vincent Pang was pleased to be invited to host the competition webinar “Startup Valuation: What you need to know?” on 9 Apr. Vincent shared the key elements for early-stage companies to attract investors relating to the consideration of Venture Capital and the competitive advantages of the business, introduced the fundamentals of business valuations for startup with case studies and covered the key issues for term sheet negotiation.
