As the Judge of HKSTP Virtual Elevator Pitch Competition (EPiC) 2020

Our Managing Director, Mr. Vincent Pang is honored to be invited by Hong Kong Science and Technology Parks Corporation (HKSTP) to join the judge panel of the Pitching Competition of its annual signature event —Elevator Pitch Competition (EPiC) 2020 on 6 November 2020.

Marking its 5th anniversary, the EPiC is an exciting tech startup challenge drawing hundreds of start-ups from the globe to pitch to win the cash funding and cross-border investment opportunities via global matching sessions. This year, the startup pitch went virtual and attracted 170 startup finalists from 50+ regions to compete.

Together with the other judges, Vincent voted the Champion and the 4 Tech Trends Winners among the 10 finalists based on their outstanding performance in the 5-minute pitching and Q&A session with the judge panel. The Champion is a biotechnology company that replaces plastic packaging with food waste biomaterials.
