As Speaker of RICS Webinar – “How Does ESG Deliver ‘Sustainable’ Returns on Your Property Portfolio – from the Hong Kong Perspective”

Our Managing Partner, Mr. Vincent Pang, was pleased to be invited by the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS) to deliver a topical webinar titled “How Does ESG Deliver ‘Sustainable’ Returns on Your Property Portfolio – from the Hong Kong Perspective” on 5 July 2022. The webinar received very positive response with over 400 registrants, mainly from commercial real estate and valuation sectors working with valuation firms, developers and consultancy firms.

Given the escalating awareness over responsible investment, the ESG performance of property portfolio has been of concern for many property owners, facilities management, occupiers and investment funds. The webinar, hence, zoomed in on how the major stakeholders can adopt a more robust approach to sustainability in every stage of the property lifecycle.

Complemented by a case study of multiple commercial developments in Hong Kong plus references from locally and globally recognized real estate ESG benchmarks, Vincent explored the pivotal role of ESG in managing climate risks, preserving and thus driving the property asset value and sustainable returns on the property portfolio.
