A series of Lunar New Year celebrations were joyously held as AVISTA Hong Kong, Shenzhen, Shanghai and Beijing Offices rang in the Year of the Tiger. Do you know every year, this landmark day accounts for a tremendous part of environmental impact? Over-production, excessive packaging and increasing demand for speedy delivery due to impulsive buying may result in a spike of greenhouse gas emissions and waste sent to landfills.
 
Shop responsibly! Buy less and switch to sustainable products and secondhand wares to preserve our valuable natural resources. A small change could be a great contribution to make our society more sustainable!

AVISTA Shanghai Office organized a workplace massage last week. A relaxing massage therapy has been offered to our colleagues. After the massage break, the discomfort of our employees’ necks and shoulders has been relieved by reducing the muscle tension. We are delighted to promote a stress-free working environment and enhance the well-being of our people with actual deeds.

AVISTA Shanghai office Workplace Massage

AVISTA is proud to support ‘Giving Blood, Saving Life’ campaign! Hong Kong blood inventories have been depleted to low levels amid the epidemic and are not sufficient to meet the daily demand from local hospitals. Hence, we encouraged our employees to give blood donation during office hours, playing our part to replenish the blood inventories in Hong Kong. We care about our society and are dedicated to generating a positive impact with concrete actions.
